TThis winter we had the most mind-blowing trip of our lives — New Zealand. And without
exaggeration I can say to everyone reading this: if you have ever dreamed of visiting this distant country,
dream, plan, save, do everything you can to make it happen one day. Believe me, it’s worth it.
One of the brightest highlights was meeting our guide Liza in the country’s capital, Wellington. Honestly we weren’t
expecting much from this tour… but we got infinitely more. Liza told us the story of New Zealand — from the life and
traditions of the indigenous people to the dramatic events of the country’s colonisation. She dispelled myths we’d heard
from previous guides and gave us a clear, truthful picture of the past and present of these amazing islands.
Liza also introduced us to the living culture: she played modern Maori songs, explained their meaning and taught
us words in the Maori language. These melodies which filled our day are still in my playlist — a warm reminder
of the magic of that time.
But Liza is not just a guide. She showed us Wellington from another side: cosy cafés where only locals have lunch
and quiet corners where tourists rarely go. With her it was easy, fun and incredibly comfortable.
And although we spent only one day together our connection didn’t end there. Liza carefully studied our entire South
Island itinerary and added her “secret” spots: viewpoints, restaurants and places to take the most beautiful photos.
She created a step-by-step plan for us thanks to which every stop on our journey became a little discovery.
This acquaintance was a true gift for us. We already know that when we return to New Zealand we will definitely
go on a full journey with Liza’s tour company to see the country in all its beauty and magic.
Thank you Liza for the way you helped us discover New Zealand ❤️ And I wish everyone to meet such sincere and
open people in their travels — people who make faraway countries truly close and dear.
Liza, thank you for this wonderful day — for the sweets, the water, the internet, the organization of the tour, the amazingly beautiful places we visited with you, your interesting stories, your excellent driving, the souvenirs we can bring as gifts and simply for being such a bright, positive person on this beautiful Earth. We embrace you with our hearts. May God protect you and grant you health and happiness!
Cruise journey, 2025We were a group of 12 people, friends and relatives from different countries traveling around New Zealand. Actually it was a cruise that started from Sidney with several stops in Tasmania and New Zealand. The stops were not too long and the main task was to see as much as possible. We spent two fantastic days with Liza in Napier and Wellington. She made these days really beautiful. We managed to see a lot during these days. Liza managed to plan the days so that all what we planned to see we managed to see and even more. Liza, thank you a lot. It was very nice and very professional. Hope to meet you again.
Cruise journey, 2024It’s hard to find the words to describe the impressions from the tour! Everything went in one breath! The guide was top class! Liza is a person who not only loves her profession but also wholeheartedly loves the country and its culture. Beyond all praise!
Group tour, 2017During our trip every day brought something new. I have never seen so many stunning places and landscapes anywhere before! It’s amazing that you can drive for 4 hours without getting tired because you’re enjoying the views and there are so many interesting spots along the way. In New Zealand there I felt quite safe, there are very kind and responsive people. There is everything you need for any type of holiday. Our guide is a very pleasant and knowledgeable young woman who fits perfectly into the nature and culture of New Zealand. She is attentive and always ready to help. She has an answer to every question and reacts quickly to changing circumstances. Everything went wonderfully — our group was very happy! Private group tour, 2016
Years go by but we still remember in Samara our wonderful trip organized by you! It remains one of the brightest chapters in our lives. Once again thank you! Wishing you and your loved ones health, peace, and kindness!
Group tour, 2016Many thanks to Liza Romanova for an amazing journey through New Zealand’s South Island! When I was planning my trip no companies were offering group tours at that moment and coming all this way without seeing the South Island was unthinkable for me. So I booked a private trip with a driver-guide. Right at the ship’s gangway I was met by a charming young woman named Liza — a Russian who understands perfectly the needs of Russian tourists, knows all the gems of both the North and South Islands and drives a car with great skill. There were moments when we needed to reach the start of the next excursion within a very short time and Liza was exceptional — winding mountain roads, steep descents, and climbs were no problem at all. If you enjoy stopping at beautiful places Liza will point them out and suggest taking photos, strolling to rivers, waterfalls, or the sea. She was a joy to talk to and with her we saw everything — and even more. Several months have passed since this incredible trip but in my mind I return to New Zealand again and again looking through photos and videos always seeing Liza whose energy, youthful spirit and optimism helped reveal the beauty of the South Island and made this journey one of the most wonderful and unforgettable. I truly hope to come back. Thank you for everything, Liza! Private individual tour, 2015
New Zealand is an incredibly impressive country! I will never forget this trip and I will never forget our best guide in New Zealand — Liza Romanova! In New Zealand body, soul and the island merge into one — it’s the cradle of the Earth. Liza, when I get tired at work, I turn on 'Tangaroa Whakamautai' song and transport myself to your amazing island dissolving into it completely! Kia Ora!
